| NASCAR 2022 at LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY October 16th, 2022 Dear Service Members and Veterans! We hope that this announcement of our upcoming event at Las Vegas Motor Speedways is a great encouragement to you, your family, and your friends, who will be joining you at this event. SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16TH, 2022 11:30 AM PST – PENNZOIL 400 NASCAR It has been a difficult season, and our hearts and hopes are for your health and well-being during this time. We are offering you tickets to LVMS NASCAR on October 16, 2022, specifically for Veterans, Active Duty, and Fallen Family members; the purpose is to Honor ALL who serve or have served in the American Military. We understand the sacrifices you and your family members have made for freedom's sake and want you to know that we are all grateful for your service. Welcome Home Troops is so happy to announce that we are back at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on OCTOBER 16TH, 2022 will also include plans for our Tailgate Party to return for this event. You will be required to register for this event. You may contact us via email at welcomehometroops@gmail.com or via text at 951-385-2774 to request the registration link. Your ticket processing Fee is $10.00 (everyone has required a ticket, including infants, they will also need ear protection). You will also be required to provide proof of service, either your active-duty military ID or your DD214; you may not register without proof of service. Your ticket confirmation will post in up to 7 days when the tickets are cut. This is a manual process and we apologize for any delays. You will receive a confirmation email from NASCAR and a follow-up from Welcome Home Troops with instructions on how to download your tickets to your Las Vegas Motor Speedway Wallet App. Regretfully the tailgate party has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. We are planning to bring it back for the March 2023 Pennzoil 400 Race. We are accepting applications for volunteers, donors, and sponsors now. We are also going to send you via Survey Monkey a survey to fill out about our tailgate party and "Breathing Room" experience. We would appreciate your input to improve your time with us. You will be receiving your ticket digitally directly to your device; there are no hard tickets. We have become virtual. Once you have registered, you will receive a series of 4 emails* that will all be generated from Mail Chimp and Survey Monkey. *Payment/registration/ dd 214 or Military Id (You can always call or text me at 951-385-2774 Sue) When you make your PayPal purchase for processing fees; please allow WHT access to your contact information and include your phone number. *ticket download details and instruction video *Survey Monkey email to find out how we are doing? This email will allow you to acknowledge attendance at the future tailgate party and help us navigate your needs for the future *Saturday night before the event, you will receive a reminder map, event special offers, menu, entertainment, and tailgate details of the location and times. When a veteran, like Zachary Bodek, requests a ticket to an upcoming event (like the exciting NASCAR race!), we don't just hand it over. We see it as an opportunity to foster deeper connections.
Zachary initially requested a single ticket. Our Founder, Sue Rebar, recognized a chance to build community. She reached out to Zachary to explore the possibility of bringing a friend or family member along.
Imagine Zachary's surprise when Sue contacted him on his wedding day! With a little luck and perfect timing, Welcome Home Troops was able to offer Zachary and his new wife a pair of infield tickets to the NASCAR race.
This personal touch exemplifies our commitment to individualized support. We believe in going the extra mile to ensure that each veteran feels valued and that their unique needs are addressed.
